Gameplay

Help a lumberjack on a mission in Logger, a two-player platform game released by Century Electronics in 1982. A giant parrot has stolen his axe and tools, forcing him to ascend a mountain to recover them. Players navigate the lumberjack through increasingly challenging levels, jumping between platforms and avoiding falling logs as they climb. The gameplay centers around precise timing and quick reflexes; each level presents a new arrangement of obstacles requiring careful jumps to progress. Logger utilizes Century’s CVS hardware for its visuals and runs with an 8-way joystick control scheme and two buttons per player. This game shares similarities in concept and structure with Nintendo's Donkey Kong, offering a familiar but distinct platforming experience for up to two players simultaneously.
