Legend

Take on the role of a young commander in Legend, a side-scrolling action game released in 1986 by Kyugo/Sega for two players. Donning distinctive green armor and a helmet, you’re tasked with defending your kingdom from invading forces under the orders of an aging king. The gameplay involves managing resources to recruit soldiers and build a legion while traversing the land. Players will utilize various weapons found throughout their journey, such as bombs and arrows, to overcome enemies. Successfully navigating the levels requires skillful jumping and dodging attacks to avoid contact with opponents and continue your quest. Due to an unusual distribution arrangement, only a limited number of game boards were released, making Legend a relatively rare title from the mid-1980s arcade scene. The game utilizes Zilog Z80 processors for its gameplay and General Instrument AY8910 sound chips to deliver the audio experience.
