Povar / Sobrat' Buran / Agroprom (Arcade multi-game bootleg of ZX Spectrum 'Cookie', 'Jetpac' & 'Pssst')

This unusual arcade cabinet presents three distinct games cobbled together from early ZX Spectrum titles. Players will find versions of Cookie, where they must collect falling cookies while avoiding obstacles; Jetpac, a unique shooting game requiring careful navigation and resource management to launch rockets; and Pssst, a puzzle-based experience centered around stealth and observation. The single-player action unfolds across the screen in a horizontal format, offering varied gameplay within a compact package. The origin of this arcade release is unclear, as it appears to be an unauthorized bootleg creation from an unknown manufacturer sometime in the 1980s. While the original games were developed by Ultimate Play The Game – later evolving into Rare and now operating under Microsoft– this arcade adaptation delivers a curious glimpse into the spread of early computer game concepts beyond their initial platforms. Each mini-game maintains the core mechanics of its Spectrum counterpart, providing accessible yet engaging challenges for players seeking something different from more conventional arcade fare.
