Klax (version 6)
Atari Games • 1990

Tiles cascade down a ramp in Klax, challenging players to quickly catch and manipulate them before they fall into a pit. Using a joystick and single button, you control a paddle to flip tiles into bins, creating matching lines of three or more colors – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally – to trigger scoring "Klaxes." As play progresses, the speed of the falling tiles increases, demanding increasingly skillful reflexes and strategic tile placement as you complete waves with specific objectives like accumulating points or surviving a set number of tiles. With two-player simultaneous action, Klax offers a frantic and engaging puzzle experience that tests your pattern recognition and quick thinking.
