Konami’s Iron Horse, released in 1986, is a cooperative platform and scrolling shooter for two players. As cowboys riding mechanical horses, players navigate a series of landscapes while battling enemies on foot and horseback. The game requires coordinated action to overcome obstacles and defeat adversaries, emphasizing teamwork as you progress through the levels. This version, designated “K,” represents an export release originating from Japan, where it was initially known as Dai Ressya Goutou. While originally published in January 1986, players will find a straightforward arcade experience focused on precision jumping and targeted shooting to advance. A bootleg copy of the game later surfaced under the title "Far West." A Commodore C64 port of Iron Horse was made available for computers in both the United States and Europe in 1987.
