Players control submarines navigating challenging underwater environments, battling enemy vessels and dodging obstacles in a cooperative two-player experience. The game demands precision and teamwork as you work to survive increasingly difficult encounters. This export version of the title offers a unique take on Irem’s earlier Japanese release, Kaitei Daisensou. Featuring vibrant graphics and intense action, In The Hunt showcases the developer's signature style. While originally appearing in arcades across the United States in April 1993, it has since been ported to various platforms including Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation consoles, as well as PC systems. Derrick Hoor currently holds the high score record for In The Hunt, achieving a notable 908,904 points—a testament to the game’s challenging gameplay and enduring appeal.
