Hidden Catch 3 (ver 1.00 / pcb ver 3.05)
Eolith • 2000

Hidden Catch 3 challenges players to carefully compare two nearly identical scenes displayed on screen. Using a stylus resembling a pencil as their input method, up to two players work together to identify and mark the subtle differences between the images. A unique vibration feedback system provides tactile cues – both when discrepancies are missed or incorrectly identified, adding an engaging physical element to the puzzle-solving process. Developed by Eolith in 2000, this installment builds upon the foundation of earlier Hidden Catch titles, utilizing a distinctive 32-bit hardware platform that supports detailed visuals with true color resolution. The game presents scenes at either 320x340 or 512x384 resolution and features background music delivered through an extensive MIDI system. With its straightforward control scheme—a single button for interaction—and cooperative gameplay, Hidden Catch 3 offers a focused and tactile puzzle experience designed to be enjoyed by two players simultaneously.
