Heated Barrel (World version 3)
TAD Corporation • 1992

Step into the wild west in Heated Barrel, a cooperative shooter released by TAD Corporation in 1992. Four players simultaneously control distinct characters – a sheriff, a Mexican with a boomerang, an indigenous warrior, and a gunslinger – each equipped with a unique weapon that can be upgraded throughout gameplay. The objective is to rid Dodgem City of outlaws, rogues, and supernatural entities as you progress through the stages. Players navigate environments using an 8-way joystick and control their weapons with two buttons. Collecting specific items enhances your chosen firearm, leading to increasingly powerful attacks against the game’s adversaries. Heated Barrel features a cartoon aesthetic and supports up to four players simultaneously, fostering a chaotic and collaborative experience. Notably released in November of 1992, Heated Barrel represents TAD Corporation's final arcade video game title. The US version includes anti-littering and anti-drug messages displayed during gameplay.
