Hard Yardage (v1.20)

Step onto the gridiron in Hard Yardage, a four-player football game released in 1993 by Strata and Incredible Technologies. Officially licensed by the NFL, this arcade experience puts you in control of offensive plays as you battle against opponents to advance downfield. Using an eight-way joystick and two buttons, players direct their team, aiming for touchdowns through a combination of runs and passes. The game utilizes digitized graphics designed to mimic television broadcasts, creating a dynamic visual presentation alongside commentary from Wayne Larrivee, the voice of the Chicago Bears. Hard Yardage challenges players with strategic decision-making as they call plays and execute them against opposing defenses. The software has undergone revisions, including version 1.20, which further refined the gameplay experience. With its focus on offensive football strategy and a roster of NFL teams, Hard Yardage delivers an engaging arcade challenge for up to four players simultaneously.
