SunA’s Hard Head 2, released in 1991, is a cooperative platform game designed for two players. As characters with distinctive hairstyles, you navigate scrolling levels filled with hazards and enemies, relying on jumping and running skills to progress. Players must work together to overcome obstacles, with each character possessing unique abilities that complement the other’s actions. The gameplay involves traversing environments while dodging projectiles and defeating foes using a simple two-button control scheme. Hard Head 2 builds upon its predecessor, offering a vibrant visual style driven by detailed sprites and enhanced sound capabilities thanks to dedicated Zilog processors alongside Yamaha and General Instrument chips. This sequel continues the Hard Head series and was distributed in North America under license from Space Age Electronics.
