Gun Force II (US)

Gun Force II is a cooperative platform and scrolling shooter released in the United States by Irem in 1994. Players control one of two characters as they navigate through detailed environments while battling enemies with powerful weaponry. The game challenges players to strategically move and shoot, utilizing varied terrain and obstacles to overcome waves of adversaries. This title is part of a series that began with Gun Force and follows up on the original’s gameplay. Gun Force II originated as the Japanese game Geo Storm, and it serves as an export release for North American arcades. It allows two players to team up, coordinating their attacks and movements to progress through increasingly difficult levels. Later releases compiled this game with other Irem arcade titles for distribution on personal computers, including versions available for both Windows PCs and Macintosh systems beginning in 2011.
