Grobda (New Ver.)
Namco • 1984

Grobda challenges players to navigate maze-like environments while battling waves of enemy tanks in this two-player shooter from Namco, released in 1984. Viewed from a top-down perspective, you control a tank and must strategically maneuver around obstacles to destroy approaching adversaries before they can damage your vehicle. This frantic action game builds on familiar mechanics— the enemy tank design notably appeared previously in Namco's Xevious — offering a tense cooperative experience for two players as they work together to survive increasingly difficult assaults. A unique speech feature, alongside an eight-channel sound system, adds further depth and immersion to the gameplay.
