Quiz Gekiretsu Scramble (Japan)

Quiz Gekiretsu Scramble is a two-player quiz game released in Japan by Face in 1992. Featuring characters named Geki and Retsu, whose names are incorporated into the title, the game challenges players with questions presented entirely in Japanese. Two contestants compete head-to-head, answering rapidly to score points and potentially disrupt their opponent’s progress through a series of increasingly difficult inquiries. The gameplay focuses on quick reflexes and knowledge of Japanese culture and trivia. Players utilize four buttons to select answers from multiple choices displayed on screen, striving for accuracy and speed. The game's technical specifications include a Zilog Z80 processor alongside sound chips that contribute to its audio experience. Quiz Gekiretsu Scramble is the second installment in the Gakuen Paradise series, following 1991’s Quiz Gakuen Paradise.
