Frog & Spiders (bootleg?)
Taito Corporation • 1981

Frog & Spiders is a two-player shooter and gallery game released by Taito Corporation in 1981. Players control frog characters who must defend against waves of spiders attempting to reach their lily pads. Using on-screen controls, players aim and fire projectiles to eliminate the spider enemies before they can land. A cocktail version of the game was also produced, marketed as “T.T Frog & Spiders” in Japan. Gameplay involves a constant stream of arachnid adversaries descending from the top of the screen. The frogs must work cooperatively or competitively to clear each wave and advance through the levels. This arcade title first appeared in October of 1981, offering a unique blend of shooting action and strategic positioning for two players simultaneously.
