Gameplay

This two-player fighting game, released in 1996, is an unlicensed arcade version based on the Super Famicom title Final Fight 2. Players take control of one of four characters—Guy, Haggar, Lucia, and Rolento—each with distinct movesets to battle through city streets. The gameplay unfolds across a series of scrolling stages as players confront waves of enemies attempting to disrupt their progress. Final Fight 2 presents a 2.5D perspective, allowing for movement along the horizontal plane while maintaining a sense of depth. Players use punches, kicks, throws, and special attacks to defeat opponents; successful combos are key to clearing each stage and advancing in the game. The pirate arcade cabinet offers a direct recreation of the Super Famicom experience within an upright coin-operated format.
