Fantasy (US)

Navigate twisting mazes and engage in close-quarters combat in Fantasy, a maze fighter released by Rock-Ola in early 1982 for North American arcades. Licensed from SNK, this two-player game puts you in control of warriors who must maneuver through labyrinthine environments while battling each other with swordplay. Players seek to outwit and defeat their opponent by strategically using the maze layout to gain an advantage. The gameplay revolves around careful movement and timing; anticipate your rival’s actions as you attempt to land blows and prevent yourself from being struck. Fantasy originally debuted in Japan under SNK's name during October of 1981, preceding its American release by nearly six months. A high score of 269,220 points is currently held by Rob Howes.
