F-1 Grand Prix Star II

Experience Formula One racing in Jaleco’s 1993 arcade game, F-1 Grand Prix Star II. As a single player, you take control of an open-wheel race car and navigate challenging tracks from a distinctive chase view perspective. Using a paddle controller and four buttons, players steer their vehicle around the circuit while avoiding obstacles and attempting to maintain speed. The game builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, F-1 Grand Prix Star, offering a focused racing experience with an emphasis on precise handling. The sounds are produced through Yamaha YM2151 and OKI6295 chips. F-1 Grand Prix Star II debuted in Japan in March of 1993, continuing the F-1 Grand Prix Star series which would later include F-1 Grand Prix Star Jr.
