Gameplay

Experience Formula One racing from a unique overhead perspective in F-1 Grand Prix Part II, released by Video System Co. in 1992. As a single player, you navigate challenging tracks using an eight-way joystick to control your race car and three buttons for actions within the game. The goal is to skillfully maneuver through each circuit, striving for victory against opponents on the track. F-1 Grand Prix Part II builds upon its predecessor with enhanced visuals and sound. A Zilog Z80 processor handles sound effects composed by Soushi Hosoi, while a Yamaha YM2610 chip delivers the game's audio experience. Two Motorola 68000 processors power the gameplay engine, contributing to the detailed track environments and racing action visible on screen. This arcade title represents a continuation of Video System Co.'s F-1 Grand Prix series and was later ported to the Super Famicom in 1993.
