Gameplay

Pilot your spacecraft through an alien hive in Exed Exes, a fast-paced vertical shooter from Capcom released in 1985. As one of the earliest arcade games to feature simultaneous two-player cooperative gameplay, you and a friend can team up to blast through waves of insectoid enemies, some rivaling your ship’s size. Navigate detailed environments brought to life with impressive parallax scrolling for the era and work together to defeat massive bosses guarding each stage. The game challenges players with relentless enemy attacks and requires quick reflexes and strategic use of power-ups to survive. Special "Hi-Point" areas offer a brief respite from the chaos, transforming enemies into fruit for bonus points. Defeating all bosses in a stage is required to advance, but true mastery comes with reaching an ultimate score of 10,000,000 points before the game resets.
