Eco Fighters (World 931203)

Eco Fighters is a cooperative horizontal scrolling shooter released by Capcom in 1993. Designed and originally published in Japan as "Ultimate Ecology," this version found its way to North American and global arcades running on CPS-II hardware. Two players pilot customizable aircraft, battling against waves of robotic enemies threatening the planet’s ecosystems. Players navigate through distinct environmental stages, destroying enemy formations and bosses with a variety of weapons that can be upgraded during gameplay. The game features two revisions of its Blue Board hardware; the first released worldwide in December 1993 and a later US-only revision appeared in February 1994. Eco Fighters has since been included in Capcom Classics collections for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and PSP consoles, allowing players to experience this arcade shooter on home platforms.
