Dynamite Bomber (Korea, Rev 1.5)
Limenko • 2000

Dynamite Bomber is a cooperative platform and run-jump game for two players, released in 2000 by Limenko. Players take on the roles of Mic, Mae, and Dan—three heroes who travel the globe disrupting criminal organizations. The gameplay revolves around strategically deploying bombs to defeat enemies and destroy structures across varied locations like Hong Kong and Germany. A core mechanic involves laying multiple explosives at key points and detonating them simultaneously for maximum impact, or creating chain reactions by setting up patterns along enemy paths. Each character possesses unique abilities that influence how players approach challenges; Mic can use a Charge Shot, Mae has an untouchable Flash Move, while Dan is able to fly freely. Players control their chosen hero using a two-way joystick and three buttons to throw bombs directly at opponents or trigger explosive sequences. The game’s design team included programmers Suk Woo Rhee and Han Woo Kim, art director Sang Won Lee, and sound designer Kakorachi. Dynamite Bomber offers a fast-paced experience focused on teamwork and tactical bomb placement as players navigate increasingly complex levels filled with adversaries.
