Drift Out is a two-player racing game released in 1991 by Visco. Presented from an overhead perspective, players compete against each other on twisting tracks using simple dial controls to steer their vehicles. The goal is straightforward: outmaneuver your opponent and cross the finish line first through skillful navigation of turns and strategic positioning. The graphics utilize the Taito F2 system hardware, offering a visually distinct experience for its time. A series of sequels followed, including Drift Out '94 - The Hard Order, Super Drift Out – World Rally Championships, and Neo Drift Out – New Technology. A copycat version of the game, known as “Drive Out,” also surfaced at some point after the original’s release. Programmers Nadu. S, Tera.Bat, and Koizumi Pharmacy contributed to the title's development, alongside character designers like Tel. Yamada and King Takahashi.
