Dragoon Might (ver AAB)
Konami • 1995

Konami’s Dragoon Might, released in 1995, pits two players against each other in a competitive fighting game tournament. Twelve selectable characters, each with their own unique weapons and abilities, battle through large stages featuring zoom capabilities. Players utilize an eight-way joystick and six buttons to execute punches and kicks, aiming to defeat opponents and advance within the single-player tournament or team-based battles where three fighters face off against another trio. The game’s hardware utilizes Konami GX technology and features a notable visual distinction depending on the regional version. Version AAB, intended for Asian markets, defaults to a “Bloody Level 1” setting which displays green blood effects during combat. Japanese versions (JAA) use a higher "Bloody Level 3" that results in more prominent red blood splatter. A dedicated team of artists and designers contributed to Dragoon Might, resulting in a diverse roster of characters, each brought to life by distinct artistic styles. A soundtrack album featuring music from the game was released shortly after its debut, offering fans an extended listening experience beyond the arcade environment.
