Kyuukoukabakugekitai – Dive Bomber Squad is a two-player vertical scrolling shooter developed by Konami and appearing as a prototype in 1989. Players control aircraft engaged in aerial combat against enemy forces within a continuously descending environment. The game was showcased at the 1989 AOU show, though it never progressed beyond this exhibition phase. Gameplay involves navigating through levels filled with various obstacles and adversaries while utilizing weaponry to destroy targets. Background graphics were created by Hiroshi Iuchi. Though unreleased to the public, Kyuukoukabakugekitai represents a snapshot of Konami's shooter development during that era.
