Also known as: DJ Girl

Disco Boy is a challenging cooperative shooter from Soft Art Co., released in 1993. Players control a character who jumps and shoots from a moving platform across each stage, aiming to defeat a boss at the end of each area to advance. The unique gameplay involves a tilting platform that shifts with player movement, requiring careful navigation as it slowly ascends the screen; pressing down returns the platform to its lower position. Throughout the game, enemies may drop power-ups for enhanced firepower or temporary invincibility, alongside fruit for bonus points. Collecting all the letters to spell “DISCO” unlocks a special bonus stage filled with fruit and devoid of enemies. Every third level presents a boss battle as the sole challenge, foregoing the background imagery present in other stages. The game's visuals are notable, featuring backgrounds that initially appear as silhouettes but reveal nude images when TNT bundles explode upon contact. Two players can join forces for cooperative play, each with their own platform and synchronized movement across the screen.
