Seibu Kaihatsu • 1988
Also known as: Gang Hunter / Dead Angle, Lead Angle

Dead Angle is a two-player shooter released in 1988 by Seibu Kaihatsu. Presented from a first-person perspective, players control vehicles maneuvering through a series of environments while attempting to destroy incoming targets. This arcade game originated in Japan and was later distributed internationally. A version for the Sega Master System appeared in 1989. The gameplay focuses on piloting a vehicle and engaging enemies that appear on screen, requiring players to react quickly and aim precisely. While this release is known as Dead Angle outside of Japan, it's based upon the original Japanese title, Lead Angle, which offers more insight into the game’s design and intended experience. Two players can cooperate in their efforts to overcome the challenges presented within the game.
