Cleopatra Fortune is a cooperative puzzle game released by Taito in 1996, immersing players in an ancient Egyptian setting complete with memorable music. Up to four players work together to manipulate falling blocks, strategically positioning them to clear the playfield and prevent it from reaching the top. Using eight-way joystick controls, players guide their assigned bricks downwards, aiming for thoughtful combinations that maximize score potential. The game's unique system includes a playful restriction: attempts to enter "SEX" on the high score table are automatically altered to "AAA." While initially released as an arcade title running on Taito’s F3 hardware, Cleopatra Fortune later saw numerous ports to various consoles and computers, including Sega Saturn, PlayStation, Dreamcast, PC, and more. A limited-edition soundtrack was also produced by Zuntata Records in 1998, preserving the game's distinctive audio atmosphere. Cleopatra Fortune is the first installment of a series; its sequel, Cleopatra Fortune Plus, arrived in 2002.
