Cheese Chase
Art & Magic • 1994

In Cheese Chase, two players guide diminutive mouse characters through intricate mazes in search of delicious cheese. The gameplay blends reflexes and strategic thinking as you navigate environments filled with hazards like sparks and ice. To clear a path and escape danger, players deploy mines that explode after a short delay, eliminating pesky rats and beetles along the way. Unique rotating wooden doors and activated metal platforms offer dynamic pathways through each level, requiring careful planning and precise timing to succeed. Each round is identified by a hidden code – these codes cleverly correspond to the names of other games produced by Art & Magic. Released in 1994 by Art & Magic, Cheese Chase provides a frantic and amusing cooperative experience for up to two players using eight-way joysticks and three buttons to control their mice.
