Gameplay

Chase Bombers is a fast-paced driving game released by Taito in 1994. Players take on the role of a racer navigating challenging courses filled with obstacles like mines and steel poles while contending with rival drivers attempting to impede their progress. The gameplay utilizes a chase-view perspective, putting you behind your vehicle as you race toward the finish line. Five distinct vehicles are available for selection, ranging from a Formula One car to a custom truck, each offering unique handling characteristics. Throughout the races, players can collect items strategically placed along the track; these items can be used defensively to evade attacks or offensively to disrupt opponents and gain an advantage. The game features a control scheme incorporating a steering wheel, pedals, and buttons, designed for precise maneuvering and skillful item deployment as racers battle for position and strive to cross the finish line first.
