Gameplay

Cachat is a two-player puzzle game released by Taito in 1993 that challenges players to create complete electrical circuits. Blocks continuously drop from the top of the screen, and your objective is to connect electrodes positioned along the edges using these falling pieces. Successfully linking an electrode to its counterpart completes a circuit, clearing those blocks from play. Gameplay requires careful planning and quick reflexes as the speed at which blocks descend increases with each completed chain. Failure to manage the falling pieces results in the game ending when they reach the top of the screen. Players control their piece using an 8-way joystick and rotate it left or right with dedicated buttons, aiming for precise placement within the growing structure. Outside of Japan, Cachat is known as "Tube-It." Though the core mechanics are simple to grasp, mastering this fast-paced game demands considerable attention and strategic thinking to maintain control over the falling blocks.
