Vs. Janshi Brandnew Stars

Vs. Janshi Brandnew Stars is a two-player tabletop game released by Jaleco in 1997. Built on their Mega System 32 hardware, this arcade title places players in a competitive Mahjong match. Two monitors display the playing field, allowing each participant to focus on their own tiles and strategy as they attempt to create valid sequences. Gameplay involves matching tiles according to traditional Mahjong rules, with the aim of being the first to complete a hand. Players must carefully consider their options, discarding unwanted tiles while anticipating their opponent’s moves in this strategic contest. The game offers a direct head-to-head challenge designed for two players only.
