Black Touch (Korea)
Yang Gi Co Ltd. • 199?

Black Touch is a two-player puzzle game released in Korea around 1993 by Yang Gi Co Ltd. The gameplay centers on matching tiles, reimagining the mechanics of games like Dragon Punch with a distinctly Korean visual style. Instead of traditional Mahjong imagery, players will encounter graphics featuring Korean traffic signs, logos from professional baseball teams, musical scores, sports emblems, fruits, and depictions of the Korean map. Two players compete simultaneously to clear the board by forming matching sets of tiles. Success leads to progression through the game's narrative, loosely based on a Korean teen comics series about a character named Byungitong and his romantic pursuits. The story follows his recurring search for love and eventual return to a childhood friend named Jangmi. A sequel, Black Touch 2, was also released at an unspecified later date. A third installment, Black Touch '96, appeared in 1996, building upon the foundation of this original puzzle title.
