Blue's Journey / Raguy (ALM-001 ~ ALH-001)

Defend Raguy’s ecosystem in this vibrant, side-scrolling platformer for two players. As either Blue or Princess Fa, you'll journey through fourteen stages across four distinct worlds, battling the encroaching Daruma tribe who are polluting the planet and depleting its resources. Combat involves using a leaf to stun enemies, then tossing them at others – or even utilizing them as projectiles by having one player pick up the other while shrunken down. Beyond direct attacks, players can find and power-up boomerangs and bombs, collect speed boosts and health refills, and utilize shops scattered throughout the levels for helpful tips and advantages. Branching paths appear after each world boss battle, allowing players to shape their adventure and pursue different endings based on performance and choices made during gameplay. Running on SNK’s Neo-Geo MVS hardware, Blue's Journey (known as Raguy in Japan) features simple controls: an eight-way joystick for movement, a jump button, and a size-changing button allowing players to access hidden areas and unique combat strategies. Multiple endings await depending on your score and interactions with other characters, offering considerable replay value.
