Baryon - Future Assault (set 1)
SemiCom / Tirano • 1997

Baryon - Future Assault is a two-player flying vertical shooter released in 1997 by SemiCom, also credited as Tirano. Players pilot spacecraft through increasingly challenging levels, battling waves of enemies and navigating intricate environments. The game originated as a South Korean PC title from Acro Studio three years prior, adapted for arcade audiences. Gameplay involves maneuvering your ship to avoid enemy fire while unleashing attacks against approaching adversaries. As players progress, they encounter more complex attack patterns and environmental hazards. While popular Japanese shoot 'em ups held significant sway within the South Korean gaming scene at the time of its release, Baryon - Future Assault did not achieve widespread success.
