Step into the Wild West as a Deputy tasked with protecting the town bank in Sanritsu’s frantic shooter, Bank Panic. This cooperative two-player game challenges you to manage twelve numbered doors that open intermittently, revealing either innocent customers needing to deposit their money or armed outlaws ready to cause trouble. Players must quickly navigate the screen left and right, identifying and shooting bandits before they can fire while ensuring customers make it safely through the process – harming a civilian results in lost lives. Success depends on keen observation and reflexes; a bar graph above each door indicates impending arrivals, demanding strategic positioning for both customer safety and outlaw elimination. Beyond outlaws and civilians, you'll encounter time-sensitive bombs requiring quick action, along with opportunities to earn bonus points by freeing bound citizens or collecting gifts from a wandering cowboy. Completing levels requires depositing money through every door within a tight timeframe, adding an extra layer of urgency to the gameplay. Bank Panic offers escalating challenges and rewards skillful play; starting on higher difficulty levels provides greater bonuses, while mastering timing and target prioritization is key to achieving high scores. The game’s unique blend of shooter action and puzzle elements provides a consistently engaging experience for two players.
