Gameplay

Tournament Arkanoid is a two-player ball and paddle game released in 1987 exclusively for the United States market. Building upon the foundation of the original Arkanoid, players control paddles to bounce a ball and destroy rows of blocks arranged across the screen. As the ball hits blocks, they disappear, and the goal is to clear every block from each level to advance. This version features completely new levels designed to challenge even seasoned Arkanoid veterans. Some of these levels incorporate unique visuals; for example, one displays a depiction of the American flag using silver blocks as stars, while another shows the character Chack'n from the game Chack’n Pop, with golden blocks forming his eyes. Gameplay remains largely unchanged from its predecessor, offering familiar break-out action suitable for cooperative or competitive play.
