Step onto the court with Magic Johnson's Fast Break, a two-player basketball game released in 1988 by Arcadia Systems. This arcade title puts you in control of a team alongside a friend, where you’ll maneuver your players up and down the court to score points against the opposing squad. Using an eight-way joystick and action buttons, players dribble, pass, shoot, and attempt steals to gain possession and outmaneuver their rivals. The game features Earvin “Magic” Johnson, one of basketball's most recognizable figures, providing a star presence on the virtual court. Fast Break utilizes Arcadia’s Super Select hardware and custom sound chips to deliver gameplay centered around quick reflexes and strategic teamwork – successfully executing passes and shots is key to victory. Designed for head-to-head competition, Magic Johnson's Fast Break offers a classic arcade basketball experience that captures the excitement of the sport. The game was initially released in November of 1988 and later ported to the Nintendo Famicom console.
