3 On 3 Dunk Madness (US, prototype? 1997/02/04)
Video System Co. • 1996

3 On 3 Dunk Madness is a basketball arcade game from Video System Co., released in prototype form around February 1997. Designed for up to four players, this horizontally oriented game puts you on the court for fast-paced three-on-three action. Players control their chosen characters and attempt to score by dribbling, passing, and executing dunks against an opponent team. The game utilizes a Motorola 68000 processor and a Zilog Z80 sound chip alongside a YM2610 sound chip for its audio. With a resolution of 320x224 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz, the visuals offer a clear view of the on-court action. Although developed in 1996, this version never saw widespread distribution; it remains a glimpse into an unrealized arcade concept.
