Gameplay

A blaze has broken out in a high-rise building populated by penguins and cats, and it’s up to you as a firefighter to navigate the emergency ladder and rescue them all. This cooperative platform game for two players tasks you with ascending a maze-like structure while avoiding bizarre obstacles that appear from every direction. Using a four-way lever for movement, players must strategically deploy their fire extinguisher to defeat enemies and quell flames blocking the path to safety. The gameplay involves careful maneuvering through each level, rescuing trapped inhabitants, and ultimately locating the exit before it’s too late. Repeatedly pressing the fire extinguisher button is crucial for overcoming obstacles, though a fall from a balcony can send you back to start. Developed by Coreland in partnership with Sega and released in Japan during 1986, 119 runs on Sega's System 2 hardware and remains a rare title within arcade collections.
